Developer

Creditinfo CRB Kenya Ltd is a leading Credit Reference Bureau dedicated to providing accurate and reliable credit information services. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to fill the position of a Developer. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of applications. This includes coding, debugging, and testing functionalities.
• Work closely with architects, other developers, analysts, quality engineers, product managers, and clients to understand requirements and integrate feedback into development.
• Engage internal and external clients to gather the necessary technical information and to evaluate the impact of the technical decisions/requirements.
• Manage and analyze interaction with different systems and data sources to identify patterns, transform data, and deal with edge cases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Document code changes, development processes, and user guides for the implemented changes.
• Train both internal and external clients on the functionality of individual system modules, assisting them in using, deploying, and configuring the system for optimal usability

Skills and Qualifications (What you should already know/have)

• Recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Broad experience in designing and developing various application systems.
• Experience working in a team using Agile methodology, including effective collaboration with remote teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
• Ability to manage personal professional development and contribute to functional knowledge building.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C# (.NET), JavaScript (Vanilla, Vue, jQuery, ReactJS/TypeScript), and SQL.
• Experience in developing distributed systems under high load with short response times.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vanilla, Vue, React, jQuery).
• Knowledge of databases, including MS SQL and open-source options, as well as XML, XSD, and XSLT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Expertise in back-end development with PHP and MySQL, including API integrations, database management, and server-side scripting.
